Aging with Joy

How to maintain one’s own agency and happiness while navigating the second half of life. Because nothing matters so much as that you feel good.

Relationships

They are good for as long as they’re good, and then they’re not.  Longevity is not the measure of a successful relationship.  Retaining one’s own values and identity while coping with the complexities of shared living can be overpowering.  One can keep those personal hopes, desires and aspirations, all while in committed relationship.  It’s all about accountability to self.  Because nothing matters so much as that you feel good.

One’s self

None of our parents or teachers or siblings were perfect. Releasing the limitations installed by our (usually) well-meaning elders, may require untangling them from our own, earned, visions and strengths. Find and keep your core identity, your own power and personal magnificence. Because nothing matters so much as that you feel good.

Brief therapies or process work — changing emotional states and habits of thinking — will indeed change your life.

“Because nothing matters so much as that you feel good.”
